Enemy Fires on Military Unit's Bread Truck: Artsakh Defense Ministry
Recently, there has been an increase in the activities of the opposing forces along various sections of the line of contact in the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict, manifested through both large-scale engineering and fortification work, as well as violations of the ceasefire regime.
Significantly, the Azerbaijani side periodically selects targets for fire not only at the frontline positions of the Armenian Defense Forces but also at mobile logistical units of the Armenian personnel performing combat duty.
Specifically, the Azerbaijani armed forces recently fired from sniper rifles toward a bread truck of one of the military units located in the eastern (Aknar) section, damaging its body. Additionally, during the night of May 2 to 3, around 330 shots were fired from large-caliber sniper weapons, machine guns, and assault rifles towards the combat positions located in the northeastern (Mataghis) area of the army.
The Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Artsakh draws the attention of the co-chairing countries of the OSCE Minsk Group to this fact, simultaneously calling on the Azerbaijani side to refrain from the unpromising tactic of artificially escalating the situation.
