US Ready to Host Meeting of Armenian and Azerbaijani Foreign Ministers, Says US Deputy Ambassador in Azerbaijan
The US Deputy Ambassador in Azerbaijan, William Gil, has announced that the United States is willing to host a meeting between the foreign ministers of Armenia and Azerbaijan, as reported by Trend.
“As you know, the United States is a co-chairing country of the OSCE Minsk Group, and we are ready to work with the parties to facilitate a resolution to the issue through negotiations. Considering all of this, the US is prepared to host the foreign ministers' meeting in the future. The possibility of such a meeting is currently under discussion. We hope to be able to share positive news in the future,” Gil stated.
It is noteworthy that the foreign ministers of Armenia and Azerbaijan met in Moscow on April 15.
