Chief Prosecutor's Anticipated Visit to the National Assembly Today: Lawmakers are Resolute
According to the "Zhoghovurd" daily, today in the regular meeting of the National Assembly's Legal and Judicial Affairs Committee, the report on the activities of the Office of the Chief Prosecutor of Armenia for 2018 will be discussed, with Chief Prosecutor Arthur Davtyan personally presenting it.
Later, the report will be included in the agenda of the National Assembly's plenary sessions, where Davtyan will also present it.
According to information from the "Zhoghovurd" newspaper, many lawmakers are looking forward to the Chief Prosecutor's visit. Some MPs, who are not members of the committee, have also aimed to attend today’s meeting and will try to raise their pressing questions, particularly against the backdrop of recent legal developments.
