We Must Straighten Our Backs, Believe in Our Strengths, Enrich Ourselves and Each Other through Our Work – Pashinyan

Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan has delivered a message on the occasion of Labor Day.

In a statement from the Government's Public Relations Department, he said:

“Dear compatriots,

I congratulate all of you on the occasion of International Workers' Day and solidarity of workers.

The task and goal of the Armenian government is to implement an economic revolution in the country. Just like the political revolution, in this case, our main and key tool continues to be individual effort. In other words, our main instrument must be to encourage citizens, people, to work, act, engage in economic activities, and believe in their own strength and success. Our steps will be aimed at changing the economic behavior of every citizen, both as an object of economic activity and as a subject of economic activity.

We must all move towards the realization of that goal, straighten our backs, believe in our strengths, and enrich ourselves and each other through our work.

The protection of workers' rights is also at the center of the Armenian government's attention, and we plan to take consistent steps in this direction as well.

Our country must exit the status of being a country with low-skilled labor, and we will spare no effort to ensure that Armenia is a country with highly skilled labor. To this end, the government of the Republic of Armenia will implement measures aimed at improving the education system so that it provides our state with highly skilled labor, so that when students graduate from universities, they have the status of competitive specialists.

The Armenian people have always stood out for their work, diligence, enthusiasm, and creativity. I am confident that together we will achieve the realization of our goals and through our work, we will develop and beautify our country.”
