Officials in Driver's Role: New Initiative on Facebook
Recently, several groups have been actively circulating on Facebook, through which a group of residents in Yerevan are providing free transportation to citizens from one part of the city to another, reports Armdaily.am.
Various officials are also quite active in these groups. One of the prominent figures is Armen Kotolyan, the head of the Market Surveillance Inspectorate, who always takes passengers with him while going to and from work.
Another active participant is Tigran Galstyan, the acting Deputy Minister of Culture, who also transports passengers to the regions. We can also see Member of Parliament Viktor Yengibaryan among the drivers. Another member of such a group is Minister of Education and Science Arayik Harutyunyan. Although Harutyunyan has not made any posts yet, he is likely registered as a passenger since he does not own a car.
