Stabbing Incident in Yerevan: Father and Son Hospitalized

On April 20, an emergency incident occurred in Yerevan. Around 22:00, the police department of Kanaker-Zeytun received a report from the Saint Gregory the Illuminator Medical Center that two citizens had been brought in with stab wounds.

According to photojournalist Gagik Shamshyan, an operational group from the Kanaker-Zeytun police department was dispatched to the hospital, where it was determined that the injured were 64-year-old Gagik Manukyan and 40-year-old Ashot Manukyan.

At the hospital, doctors informed the police that the victims were unable to provide an explanation regarding the incident. The police, following hot leads, established that the assailant was 24-year-old Gor Khanoyan, a resident of 6th Street in Kanaker, who is more commonly known by the nickname “Turk Emren.”

According to Gagik Shamshyan’s reports, the stabbed individuals are father and son. The police are taking the necessary measures to locate the suspect G. Khanoyan.
