PHOTO: BMW X5 Reduces to Ashes in Car Impound Lot
An emergency incident occurred at the special area protected by the Yerevan Traffic Police. Yesterday, on April 18, around 12:10 PM, the 911 operational management center of the Ministry of Emergency Situations received a call reporting that a fire broke out in a BMW X5 vehicle registered with the number plate 70 NO 070, located at the 'Gai Plashchadka' parking lot in Yerevan under unclear circumstances.
As reported by Shamshyan.com, firefighters arrived promptly, and together with Yerevan's traffic police officers, they first contained the spread of the fire and then extinguished it. According to preliminary information, fortunately, there were no casualties, and if the firefighters and traffic police had not acted swiftly, the fire could have spread throughout the entire impound lot, possibly igniting other vehicles as well. The BMW X5 was completely burned, along with partial damage to another vehicle parked nearby.
