Aliyev Rejected Pashinyan: Political Technologist

Political technologist Suren Surenyan wrote on his Facebook page: “Aliyev has rejected Pashinyan.

Aliyev stated that the format of negotiations regarding Artsakh cannot be changed. Whatever satisfaction we may express regarding the fact that Nikol Pashinyan is pursuing the negotiation process for the return of Artsakh, it must be noted that the official statements from Yerevan on this occasion are not conceptual in nature, which creates some confusion within international circles. It is no coincidence that EU officials and Pashinyan were essentially speaking different languages regarding the possible change in the format of negotiations. Whenever Armenia’s initiative on the Artsakh issue is vague, Baku immediately takes advantage of it by accusing Yerevan of inconsistency. Diplomacy prefers not emotions or loud statements, but primarily rationality.”
