Is Turkish Tomato Staying in Armenia or Being Re-exported? The MP Inquires

Armenian farmers are complaining that Turkish tomatoes are often imported into Armenia at prices lower than the market value, sometimes even below production costs, pushing local tomatoes out of the market. During a Q&A session between the National Assembly and the government, MP Lusine Badalyan from the 'My Step' faction expressed such concerns.

The acting Minister of Agriculture responded that certain regulations are already in place. 'There are specific subsidies for greenhouses,' he noted.
