During a session in the National Assembly, Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan continued to answer questions from journalists.

Arkadi Khachatryan from the 'Bright Armenia' party noted during the discussion of the government’s program that they would like to see this program as a "roadmap for economic revolution," but it is not the case.

The Prime Minister remarked that he is surprised by the questions posed by the lawmakers of 'Bright Armenia'.

“Let's say if we wrote in the program that we would reduce poverty in Armenia by 7 percent, but the final figure turned out to be, say, 5.9 percent, what would your faction do? Would you declare that everything is very bad, saying that we promised to reduce it by 7 percent but only managed to reduce it by 5.9 percent, thus they should resign? Now we say that there should be no extreme poverty, but it turns out, nonetheless, there is 0.5 percent extreme poverty, what will your faction do? I am curious about your reaction,” he stated.
