Unexpected Alliances May Form Around Karapetyan

The newspaper "Pats" reports that against the backdrop of declining ratings for Pashinyan's government, efforts by the former authorities to position themselves for future political battles have begun to intensify.

According to information obtained by "Pats," Serj Sargsyan is trying to build this struggle around former Prime Minister Karen Karapetyan through various methods. Recently, different pieces of information regarding Karapetyan's return have been circulating for this very purpose.

Our sources claim that there is currently an attempt in the political arena to generate a spectrum mainly of youth and individuals with a wide audience. The goal is to ensure that there is a serious counterbalancing force in the political arena against Pashinyan's team ahead of the upcoming elections, without the disgraceful packaging of the Republican Party of Armenia (RPA).

Incidentally, it is said that Karapetyan is also an equally acceptable figure for Kocharyan, hence unexpected alliances may form around him in the future.
