Wealth of New Deputy Foreign Minister Avet Adonts

According to the newspaper "Pats"," on February 1, Avet Adonts was appointed as the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Armenia by the decision of Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan.

Prior to this, Avet Adonts served as the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Armenia to the Kingdom of Spain.

From the declaration submitted to the Commission on Ethics for High-Ranking Officials last March, it is known that Avet Adonts provided information only about financial resources and annual income earned over the course of the year.

No data regarding real estate or movable property was available. According to the latest data published on the official website of the commission, Avet Adonts had a financial asset of €65,000 at the beginning of 2017, which increased to €80,000 by the end of the specified tax year.

His income was derived solely from his salary, amounting to €51,017. Avet Adonts has been part of the diplomatic corps since 1992.
