Elnur Huseynzade, Released from Prison in Artsakh, Does Not Want to Return to Azerbaijan

El Nur Huseynzade, an Azerbaijani who was recently released from prison in the Republic of Artsakh after serving a two-year sentence, does not wish to return to Azerbaijan. This was stated in an interview with NEWS.am by David Babayan, an advisor to the President of Artsakh.

Babayan noted that Huseynzade expressed a desire to be transferred to a third country.

“This individual originally declared that he did not want to return to Azerbaijan, therefore he will go to a third country, but we cannot specify which country, as it is possible that he may be pursued by the Azerbaijani side later,” he said, adding that the relevant services will do everything possible to ensure that this person is transferred to another country.
