Liquid Gas Deficit in Armenia: What Is the Reason?
There has been a liquid gas deficit in Armenia for over 10 days now. The reason for this is the closure of the Upper Lars checkpoint. Long queues are forming at liquid gas filling stations.
Drivers have reached out to the 'Zhoghovurd' newspaper regarding the prevailing situation in the liquid gas market.
According to them, today there is simply no liquid gas available at the filling stations across the republic.
'Zhoghovurd' has learned that liquid gas is imported not only from Iraq but also from Russia and Iran. However, both drivers and importers insist that Iranian liquid gas is of inferior quality, with instances reported where vehicles have encountered issues after using it.
