A Group of Armenian Lawbreakers Neutralized in Spain
A group of Armenians engaged in organizing fixed tennis matches has been neutralized in Spain. According to Ria.ru, the operation resulted in the arrest of 15 individuals.
Members of the group had previously established connections with tennis players competing in the ITF Futures and Challenger categories, arranging outcomes for their matches.
Preliminary data indicates that the group has been active since February 2017. Over these months, their revenue has reached several million euros.
The arrested individuals have been charged with membership in a criminal organization, money laundering, fraud, illegal possession of firearms, and embezzlement of personal funds.
