Russian Tourists Prefer Armenia for New Year Celebrations

During the New Year holidays, the majority of Russian tourists chose to celebrate in Moscow, but among international destinations, Armenia emerged as the most sought-after. This was reported by OZON.travel.

According to the online service’s data, the interest in visiting Armenia during the holiday season has increased by 68 percent, while ticket prices have decreased by 5 percent. It is also noted that Georgia’s position has significantly strengthened, with travelers' interest in its cities rising by 42 percent.

This year, fewer Russians opted for Thailand, Italy, and Turkey, with demand for these countries decreasing by 31, 38, and 5 percent, respectively.
