'Zhoghovurd' newspaper reports:
On October 24, Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan announced in the National Assembly that a member of parliament would soon be arrested in a large-scale bribery case, which would be the largest bribery incident in the history of the Third Republic. He did not disclose the name of the MP; however, 'Zhoghovurd' newspaper had previously indicated that this pertains to Aram Harutyunyan, the former Minister of Environment of Armenia, who is now an MP from the Armenian Revolutionary Federation.
Incidentally, after this announcement, Harutyunyan has not been seen in the National Assembly. Months later, our published information was confirmed. It became known yesterday that Armenia's Attorney General Arthur Davtyan submitted requests to the National Assembly to initiate criminal proceedings against MP Aram Harutyunyan, as well as to obtain consent for his arrest as a preventive measure.
