Flights from Turkey to Russia Banned: Massive Disruptions in Flights

The Turkish Pegasus Airlines has canceled the flight scheduled from Bodrum to Moscow on the night of September 2. Passengers reported that the airline justified its decision by citing the situation in the airspace, stating that the Turkish side has banned flights to Russia.

There have also been widespread disruptions at Moscow's Vnukovo Airport, where temporary restrictions were imposed for security reasons. According to the schedule, several Pegasus flights to Istanbul, Bodrum, and Dalaman have been canceled. Additionally, two Turkish Airlines flights to Istanbul scheduled for the night and morning have been canceled, as well as a Nesma Airlines flight to Sharm el-Sheikh.

The schedule for Shirak Avia's Moscow-Yerevan flight has also appeared on the list, while flights planned for other times of the day are still being maintained.

Serious disruptions in the flight schedule have emerged at Russia's major airports, including Sheremetyevo, Domodedovo, Vnukovo, Pulkovo, and Sochi. Dozens of flights have been canceled, and hundreds have been delayed for hours. The situation is particularly complicated for routes to St. Petersburg, Kaliningrad, Sochi, and Antalya.
