Police Search Home of 29-Year-Old Woman in Biurakan; Major Drug Bust Made

The Criminal Police's Anti-Drug Trafficking Department collaborated with criminal police from the Kotayk region to act on operational information they received. On August 27, at 1 PM, a 29-year-old woman from Biurakan was arrested on suspicion of drug acquisition and distribution.

A criminal case was initiated at the Abovyan investigative department. Following a court decision, a search was conducted in the woman’s apartment on August 29. During the search, law enforcement found 38 packages wrapped in adhesive tape containing a total of 38 grams of a substance resembling methamphetamine, a bag filled with 52 grams of the same substance, and a total of 57 packages weighing 118 grams of marijuana.

The 29-year-old woman has been arrested. The investigation is ongoing.
