By the decision of Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan, the acting head of the Security Council's office, Anahit Shirinyan, has been removed from her position.

According to the decision, "Guided by Article 9, Part 13 of the Law on Public Service, the acting head of the Security Council's office, Anahit Shirinyan, has been relieved of her duties." It is noted that Shirinyan herself expressed a desire to leave her post following the dismissal of Secretary of the Security Council, Armen Grigoryan.

It is recalled that the new Secretary of the Security Council is the former President of the National Assembly, Alen Simonyan.

Auroranews has contacted the Security Council's office to clarify possible reasons for Anahit Shirinyan's dismissal. The office declined to respond to the inquiry.

In response to Auroranews' question regarding whether Shirinyan's departure is related to the newly appointed Secretary of the Security Council, Alen Simonyan, the office stated, "We do not wish to comment."
