The materials regarding the criminal case involving 14 individuals charged with bribery have been transferred to the Anti-Corruption Court, as reported by the Prosecutor General's Office of Armenia.

According to the criminal proceedings, K.P., a supporter of the 'Strong Armenia' coalition party participating in the June 7, 2026 National Assembly elections, had reached a preliminary agreement with other coalition supporters, including H.S. and L.V.

They aimed to include individuals in the election commissions of polling stations in Gyumri to provide masked compensation as bribes to voters. Specifically, several individuals were offered to participate in the elections and vote for the 'Strong Armenia' coalition, as well as to ensure that their close relatives participated and voted for the same coalition. In return, it was planned to include them in the relevant precinct election commissions.

According to the Prosecutor's Office, 11 individuals accepted the offer. On June 6, 2026, L.V., in accordance with the previously reached agreement, handed over 30,000 drams to each of them as a bribe.

During the preliminary investigation, criminal proceedings were initiated against a total of 14 individuals. On August 14, the prosecutor confirmed the indictment and transferred the materials of the criminal case to the Anti-Corruption Court.

It should be noted that a person accused of a crime is presumed innocent until proven guilty by a court judgment that is legally enforced.
