Second Meeting of Armenian-Turkish Working Group on Restoration of Ani Historical Bridge Held in Yerevan
The second meeting of the joint Armenian-Turkish working group on the restoration of the historical Ani Bridge took place in Yerevan on August 4. During the meeting, both sides emphasized the importance of the memorandum signed in Yerevan on May 4, 2026, regarding the joint restoration of the Ani Historical Bridge.
The parties agreed to continue their efforts towards the prompt implementation of the signed memorandum. Armenia and Turkey had signed a memorandum of understanding on the restoration of the Ani Bridge during the 8th summit of the European Political Community in Yerevan on May 4. The signing ceremony took place within the framework of the first meeting of the working group on the restoration of the Ani Bridge.
