Ukraine Demonstrates New Technology in Warfare
Ukraine has entered a new phase of warfare by executing an attack for the first time where one drone transported and deployed another drone. This is reported by Forbes.
According to the publication, a heavy-lift drone successfully delivered a ground drone named ARK-1 to the enemy's rear, which was armed with an anti-tank mine.
Forbes estimates that this technology allows for strikes from long distances, reducing risks for soldiers and overcoming the mobility limitations of ground drones. The publication notes that such systems could change the nature of future warfare, where much of the combat operations will be carried out by autonomous devices.
It is also mentioned that Ukraine aims to replace up to 30% of its forces on the front lines with unmanned ground systems.
