Earthquake in Armenia: Underground Tremors Recorded
On August 4, at 11:54 AM, an earthquake of magnitude 3.0 was recorded 23 km southwest of the city of Sisian, at a depth of 10 km. This information was provided by the Ministry of Internal Affairs' rescue service.
The rescue service reported that the earthquake was felt in the cities of Sisian and Dastakert in the Syunik province, as well as in the villages of Arevis, Tanahat, Tasik, Salvard, and Torunik, with an intensity of 2-3 on the Richter scale.
