Wide-ranging Oversight for the Regulation of the Delivery Sector Has Begun
The Food Safety Inspection Body once again reminds that from August 1, 2026, large-scale oversight measures aimed at regulating the food delivery sector have begun. The statement issued by the FSIB emphasizes that the deadline for organizations and individuals engaged in delivery to complete the process of obtaining medical examinations and sanitary booklets for couriers (2-3 thousand) has expired.
"We strongly urge organizations and individuals involved in delivery to strictly adhere to this legal norm and inform them that not only the recorded violations will be published, but also the names of partner organizations that will comply with the requirements of the Law on Food Safety of the Republic of Armenia," the statement reads.
Notice: Personnel involved in any stage of the food chain (production, processing, distribution, storage, maintenance, transportation, import, export, and sale) must undergo initial (upon employment) and periodic (every semester) medical examinations and possess a personal sanitary (medical) booklet.
