Azerbaijani State Television Targets Armenia Again with 'Western Azerbaijan' Aggressive Thesis: Azerbaijani Expert

Azerbaijan's state television channel "AZ TV" has released a video related to an event held in Prague, once again circulating the so-called term "Western Azerbaijan." The video features a presentation titled "Exhibition of the Historical and Cultural Heritage of Western Azerbaijan and Artsakh."

Commenting on the publication, Azerbaijani expert Tatevik Hayrapetyan stated that it represents yet another manifestation of territorial ambitions against Armenia and indicates that such an agenda is being promoted at the state level in Azerbaijan.

“Yesterday, the Azerbaijani state television channel 'AZ TV' once again showcased a video containing the aggressive name 'Western Azerbaijan' directed against the Republic of Armenia. The video shows that in Prague, a public event is being held on the theme of the 'Exhibition of the Historical and Cultural Heritage of Western Azerbaijan and Artsakh.' In this material, they talk about their rich imagination, which results in yet another display of their aggressive aims against Armenia. The preparation of a report on this topic by a state television channel further indicates that Azerbaijan is advancing aggressive projects against Armenia at the state level, which is not only deliberately concealed by the current leadership but also dangerously equates the theme of Artsakh, thereby practically providing legal justification for Aliyev's aggressive ambitions,” she wrote.
