According to the Azerbaijani report.az website, the Armenian wrestler noted that he is pleased with the results and highly appreciates the organization of the tournament.

“My mood is very good. We have been welcomed here very warmly and at a high level. The tournament is well organized, and the participants were quite strong. I am happy with my victory,” the Azerbaijani source quotes the words of the Armenian athlete.

Addressing the organizational issues, Nazaryan emphasized that the Armenian delegation faced no problems: “All necessary conditions were created for our participation in the World Championship in Baku. We were very well received, and we were given all the opportunities to prepare comfortably and compete,” said the newly crowned world champion.

It is worth reminding that Janes Nazaryan became the gold medalist by defeating the representative of Russia, Aslan Dzuev, in the decisive match.
