The official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry, Maria Zakharova, stated that on the night of July 30, Ukrainian drones launched strikes in Novorossiysk, near the marine terminal of the Caspian Pipeline Consortium.

According to the press service of CPC, foreign-flagged ships were targeted, whose crews are international and whose charters are foreign suppliers. Among the goods carriers is also Tengizchevroil, owned by the American company Chevron, which participates in the supply of energy resources from Kazakhstan.

There were no casualties from the attack. The fires that broke out have been extinguished, and no oil leak has been reported. At the same time, CPC was forced to suspend oil loading again.

Zakharova insisted that the actions of Ukraine also harm the economic interests of Kazakhstan and the USA, which are considered partners of Kyiv. "The leader of the Kyiv regime is attempting to involve as many countries as possible in his terrorist adventures and expand the scope of the conflict," the Russian Foreign Ministry's representative stated.

According to her, Washington cannot fail to notice that Volodymyr Zelensky, on the one hand, talks about a ceasefire and conflict resolution, while on the other hand, allows attacks on international fuel and energy chains and the assets of the country from which he is requesting political, military, and financial assistance.

The Russian Foreign Ministry expects that the U.S. authorities will provide an "adequate assessment" of Zelensky's policies and restrain him. Moscow anticipates a similar reaction from the UN and other international organizations.
