Armenia and Lithuania Become Strategic Partners, Mirzoyan
We managed to sign a document that raises the level of our relationships. This was stated by Armenian Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan during a joint press conference with Lithuanian Foreign Minister Gabrielius Landsbergis.
"From now on, Armenia and Lithuania are strategic partners. This is a format that will allow us to deepen both our political dialogue and cooperation, but also take a more comprehensive approach to sectoral cooperation," he said.
The minister also informed that the parties discussed the prospects for economic cooperation, particularly in the fields of IT, green economy, and cybersecurity. There are areas where Lithuania has rich experience, and there are areas where Armenia has certain expertise and knowledge, so the parties agreed to be useful to each other.
Ararat Mirzoyan also noted that Armenia is grateful to its Lithuanian partners for the significant support received in enhancing Armenia-EU relations.
