Armenia's Ambassador to Russia Returns to Yerevan
I am on vacation and currently in Armenia; I arrived yesterday. This was stated by Gurgen Arsenyan, Armenia's ambassador to Russia, during a conversation with a NEWS.am correspondent.
“After a year and 7 months, I decided that I could afford to take my vacation from last year,” he said.
Referring to the fact that he was recently invited by the Russian Foreign Ministry and a complaint was made that Armenia provided a platform to Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, who made statements against Russia, Arsenyan stated: “No official statement has been transferred to Armenia; we have not received any documents from Russia. There was a verbal conversation, of which the Armenian Foreign Ministry has been informed. An official statement is a note, and nothing of that sort has been given to me.”
When asked if he would participate in any meeting regarding this issue at the Foreign Ministry, he replied: “I am on vacation; I am not working.”
