Alen Simonyan's Firm Response to Alexander Lukashenko
The Speaker of the National Assembly of Armenia, Alen Simonyan, has stated that the leader of a country that criticizes them should be more concerned about their own nation's internal issues.
Referring to Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko, Simonyan emphasized that he should ponder over his country's internal stability, political independence, freedom of speech, and even the process of potato cultivation.
It is noteworthy that the day before, the Armenian chargé d'affaires was summoned to the Belarusian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, where a note of protest was delivered due to Simonyan's assertion that Armenia should not become a gubernia and should not have a governance akin to Belarus.
