VIDEO: The 8th Summit of the EAPC Kicks Off

The 8th Summit of the EU Eastern Partnership Conference (EAPC) has kicked off at the Karen Demirchyan Sports and Concert Complex in Yerevan. Leaders and heads of government from several dozen European countries, as well as leaders of international organizations, have arrived in Yerevan to participate in the summit.

For the first time, the leader of a non-European country, Canadian Prime Minister Marc Garneau, has been invited as a guest to the summit.

The 8th Summit of the European Political Community is being held in Yerevan under the theme “Building the Future: Unity and Stability in Europe.”

The summit began with a beautiful opening ceremony featuring dance and musical performances. Following the official opening, the plenary session commenced.
