The Armenians have always been a hospitable nation, hosting many international conferences and numerous leaders from various countries in the past. However, I am concerned that this conference is dedicated to a small group that has only been in power for a month, aimed at securing a pre-election photo op to protect our friendly countries. I worry that the regional balance may be undermined, and our people might pay the price for it.

This was stated by Samvel Karapetyan, the leader of the 'Strong Armenia' party, while discussing the upcoming European Political Community Conference to be held in Armenia.

“I also have concerns that this could open the entry of 300,000 Azerbaijanis into Armenia. First and foremost, our people are worried about security issues and their quality of life, while I am concerned about the level of poverty in our country and the ways to overcome it, which we have outlined,” noted Samvel Karapetyan.
