Russia States Conditions for Ending War, Ushakov

Russia announces that the decision by the President of Ukraine to withdraw troops from Donbas could facilitate the resolution of the conflict. This was stated by Yuri Ushakov, assistant to the President of the Russian Federation, in reference to possible developments in the situation.

According to Ushakov, if Kyiv indeed takes such a step, it would open opportunities for discussions on various issues. He emphasized that such a decision could also provide a basis for considering the cessation of hostilities.

Ushakov added that this scenario is being viewed as a possible option that could contribute to the activation of political processes. At the same time, he did not specify whether any concrete negotiations or agreements regarding such a decision are already in place.
