Davit Minasian, Involved in Incident with Pashinyan at Church, Faces Two-Month Detention Request
Attorney Varduhi Elbakyan has reported that the Investigative Committee has requested a two-month detention for Davit Minasian, one of the twin brothers involved in the incident at St. Anna Church.
The Yerevan Court of General Jurisdiction has been reviewing this request for nearly three hours now. According to the attorney, during the entire session, the boy was holding his hand, and the court allowed Davit to answer questions while seated.
Defense attorney Sergey Harutyunyan also stated that the documents presented by the legal team were sufficient for this detention request to be dismissed entirely. He believes the law enforcement system should initiate a completely different procedure regarding the obstruction of a spiritual ceremony.
