Pentagon Chief Issues Statement on U.S. Strikes in Iran
The United States has conducted strikes against over 7,000 targets throughout Iran. This announcement was made during a press briefing by Pentagon Chief Pete Hegseth.
“As of today, we have struck more than 7,000 targets across all of Iran and its military infrastructure. This is not just a gradual escalation; it is overwhelming force applied with maximum precision,” he stated.
Hegseth also noted that a significant package of strikes is expected today. “And once again, today we anticipate the largest package of strikes. Just like yesterday, as I have said from day one, our capabilities continue to grow while Iran’s capabilities continue to erode. We pursue and strike,” Hegseth declared.
