"All Citizens Can Feel That There Is Peace": Sona Ghazaryan on the One-Year Anniversary of the Washington Declaration

KP Deputy Sona Ghazaryan congratulated on the occasion of the one-year signing of the Washington Declaration during a briefing with journalists. She stated that citizens can already feel the results of peace, and the interactions between the societies of Armenia and Azerbaijan demonstrate that the process is developing.

“We, all citizens, can feel that there is peace. We are witnessing exchanges between the two societies. We see that trade deals are taking place, and this indicates that peace is mutually beneficial, and both states are interested in peace,” said Ghazaryan.

Touching upon the unblocking process, the deputy recalled the visits of high-ranking US officials to Armenia. “Various discussions have taken place; you are also aware that the budget aimed at ‘Trilateral’ has doubled, a director has already been appointed, and this indicates that work is actively ongoing,” noted Sona Ghazaryan.
