Azerbaijan Once Again Demonstrates Solidarity with Its Iranian Brothers: Aliyev

Azerbaijan's President Ilham Aliyev has declared that the people of Azerbaijan and Iran have always stood by each other during challenging times. He made this statement on his X account, thanking Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian for his supportive remarks about Azerbaijan.

"I thank you for your kind and sincere words regarding Azerbaijan. The peoples of Azerbaijan and Iran have always supported each other during difficult and challenging days. Against the backdrop of recent events in our region, Azerbaijan once again proved that it stands by its brotherly Iranian people," wrote Aliyev.

Earlier, Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian stated that during the conflict with the United States and Israel, Azerbaijan provided significant assistance to Iran by keeping vital supply routes open and facilitating the transit of aid from Russia.
