Emmanuel Macron Issues Statement
The President of France, Emmanuel Macron, has ruled out France’s participation in operations to unblock the Strait of Hormuz. "We are not a party to the conflict, and therefore France will never participate in operations to unblock the Strait of Hormuz in the current context," the President stated.
He also confirmed that France is preparing escort operations for commercial vessels, which will begin after the cessation of hostilities.
Regarding the position of European allies, Donald Trump rated Macron's willingness to assist as "8 out of 10", but emphasized that the United States "does not need anyone", having the strongest armed forces.
