The Outcome Cannot Be Predetermined: Khamenei Criticizes the US
Iran's Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei has declared that Washington's attempts to pre-announce the potential outcomes of future negotiations are unacceptable. He stated that such an approach contradicts the logic of the negotiation process.
Khamenei also addressed the proposed discussions surrounding Iran's nuclear program. He emphasized that if negotiations are to take place, their outcomes cannot be predetermined. According to him, it is impossible to initiate discussions while simultaneously imposing final agreements.
The Iranian leader further highlighted that such a unilateral approach, expressed in the statements of some US officials, including the President and senators, is fundamentally flawed. Khamenei stressed that negotiations should involve bilateral discussions and the process of reaching an agreement, rather than dictating one-sided terms.
