112 Unified Phone Number Launched, Combining Police and Emergency Services Calls
On February 15, the 112 unified phone number was launched, consolidating calls directed to the Police and Emergency Services, ensuring simultaneous response.
According to the Ministry of Internal Affairs, from now on, citizens calling the 112 phone number will have the opportunity to connect with services under the Ministry of Internal Affairs with a single call, thereby making the provision of assistance faster and more efficient.
By the Prime Minister's decision, the regulations of the "112 Operational Management Center" office have been established.
