Danish Prime Minister Expects Russia and China to Act on Greenland Issue
The Prime Minister of Denmark, Mette Frederiksen, has stated that she currently does not see any threats to Greenland from Russia or China.
“At some point, we expect that Russia and China will take some action regarding Greenland, but we do not see that yet,” she said at the Munich Conference.
Russian President Vladimir Putin had previously mentioned that Western politicians regularly scare their populations with imaginary Russian threats to divert attention from domestic issues, but “smart people understand perfectly well that this is a fabrication.”
