NATO Started to Dismantle It, Not Without Berlin's Assistance: Zakharova
Russia's Foreign Ministry spokesperson Maria Zakharova stated that German Chancellor Friedrich Merz would recognize that the "rules-based" international order no longer exists if he paid close attention to the remarks of Russian officials at the Munich Security Conference in previous years.
Opening the 62nd Munich Security Conference in Germany, Merz emphasized that the international order based on legal frameworks and rules no longer exists. The Foreign Ministry's official spokesperson noted that a world order based on international law exists after the war.
“Then NATO began to dismantle it, incidentally, not without Berlin's active assistance. They promised to build a 'rules-based world order' instead, but didn’t even bother to develop any rules. Now they have divided new manuals and sent speaking heads to read them. Isn’t it disgusting to resemble... Merz?” Zakharova concluded.
