Any Agreement with Iran Must Be Voted on in Congress, Says Senator Graham
U.S. Senator Lindsey Graham has commented on the prospects of a potential agreement between Iran and the United States, stressing that it must simultaneously meet U.S. national security objectives and the needs of the Iranian people through diplomatic means.
“Given Iran's attitude towards agreements, this may not be an easily sellable idea,” the senator noted. At the same time, Graham emphasized that he is open to discussions, stating that any agreement between the Islamic Republic and the United States must be submitted to the U.S. Congress for consideration and a vote.
