Iran Does Not Rule Out Nuclear Negotiations with the USA
Ali Shamkhani, an advisor to Iran's Supreme Leader, stated in an interview with Al-Mayadeen television that the Islamic Republic continues to receive negotiation proposals from the United States regarding its nuclear program. He indicated that a war with the US could be avoided if Washington refrains from 'threats and arrogance,' and if the proposals from the White House include 'logical and acceptable terms.'
Shamkhani emphasized that the discussions are currently in the preliminary stages. At the same time, he noted that Iran is prepared to reduce its uranium enrichment level from 60% to 20% in exchange for appropriate concessions from the US. However, he stated that Tehran has no plans to remove its nuclear stockpiles outside the country.
