UK Decides to Expel Russian Diplomat
The UK government has announced its decision to expel a Russian diplomat, revoking his license.
The announcement stated that the decision was made in response to actions taken by Russia. In mid-January, the UK’s security services reported that a secretary from the embassy's Moscow office had collaborated with British intelligence agencies. This refers to Gareth Samuel Davies, the second secretary of the embassy's administrative and economic section. He has been stripped of his accreditation and ordered to leave Russia within two weeks.
