The Church should not interfere in state affairs. This was stated by Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan in the National Assembly.
“Now we know, including the clergymen who joined the agenda of goodwill, that the altars have become platforms for anti-state activities, and in this case, they are also conducting pre-election campaigns, deciding what activities to carry out in the upcoming elections,” he noted.
