China Denies US Accusations
China rejects the accusations made by the United States, alleging that Beijing is involved in cyberattacks. This was announced by the Chinese embassy in Washington in response to Western media reports discussing the supposed hacking activities of Chinese special services.
The official representative of the embassy, Liu Pengyu, stated that the claims made by the US are unfounded and based on speculation. In his statement, he emphasized that the topic of cybersecurity is being used to carry out an information campaign against China and to damage the country’s reputation.
Liu Pengyu noted that Beijing categorically opposes the unverified accusations and the dissemination of misinformation regarding “Chinese hacking threats.” According to him, such statements contribute to increased international tensions and disrupt mutual trust between countries.
The Chinese diplomatic mission once again reaffirmed that the country supports international cooperation in the field of cybersecurity and is in favor of resolving issues through dialogue and multilateral mechanisms.
