The Governments of Denmark and Greenland Request Meeting with US Secretary of State
The governments of Denmark and Greenland have reached out to the US State Department requesting to organize an 'immediate' meeting with Secretary of State Marco Rubio. This was announced by Greenland's Minister of Foreign Affairs, Vivian Motzfeldt.
According to the minister, the meeting will focus on discussing the important statements made by the US regarding Greenland. She also noted that Rubio has 'failed to meet with the Greenlandic government,' despite earlier requests from Denmark and Greenland for a ministerial-level meeting, proposed for 2025.
