Increase in Pensions and Benefits Through Cashback: Details
The Minister of Labor and Social Affairs, Arsen Torosyan, has published a video on his social media page discussing the possibilities of increasing pensions and benefits through cashback.
“As you know, we have changed the cashback rate, and starting from January 1, it will be 20 percent for sums up to 10,000 drams, and you can independently increase your pension and benefits by that amount. To do this, you simply need to conduct transactions at points of sale in Armenia via non-cash payments. But I want to talk about another program that concerns all our citizens. It involves a 2 percent cashback, which can again be obtained with non-cash transactions, but this time it can only be done with an ArCa card,” the minister explained.
According to Torosyan, if pensioners and benefit recipients replace their cards with ArCa cards, they will have the opportunity to receive a 22 percent cashback instead of the usual 20 percent.
